Budget 2007-08 has been announced. Of every 100 rupees in budgetary allocations, only Rs. 2007-08 only Rs.4.84 have been given to children. What is more shocking is only 10.02% has been allocated for health. As activists working with children it is all the more pertinent for us to reflect and discuss strong recommendations for a better future.

In lieu of the same, Child Rights & Health workshop is planned to be held on May 20, 2007 at Dalal Estate, P Block, First Floor, Kurien House, Opp. Shagun Restaurant, Near Lang's Chemist, Mumbai Central (East).
