YUVA is looking for a Policy / Budget Analyst cum Researcher to work under its Urban Governance Program.  The position involves policy and budget analysis, research, documentation and information dissemination through popular media. Specific outcomes expected are:

●        study on the post-implementation impact of the RTI Act and reservations for SC, ST and women councilors under the 74th CAA. (conceptualisation of research, data collection, analysis and report writing)

●        Building a process for people's participation in the budget making process at ward level (designing of process and implementation in atleast one electoral ward of Mumbai

Desired Qualification and Experience: The candidate should be postgraduate in Social Sciences with minimum 4-5 yrs. experience 

The person needs to have socio-political analysis and articulation / writing skills in English. Knowledge of statistical applications and SPSS package for analysis of ward budgets will be an added advantage.

Knowledge of Marathi will be an added advantage.

Location: The person will be situated in Mumbai, Maharashtra

Salary: Negotiable depends on experience and competence.
